Your new company Hays is partnering with a public sector organisation to recruit a temporary Business Support Officer who will provide a wide range of professional, technical and administration support services.
Your new role Provide comprehensive and confidential Business Support across all Planning Service functions.
Respond to enquiries via phone, email, and other channels.
Offer technical and procedural advice or direct enquiries to relevant officers/agencies.
Issue standard correspondence and log details in the Planning Portal.
Operate manual and computerised information systems for data management and report production.
Complete Property Certificate requests and Planning Appeals Commission questionnaires.
Organise and attend multi-agency meetings, taking minutes and producing reports.
Monitor inventories, code purchase orders, and research quotations.
What you'll need to succeed 5 GCSEs including Maths and English LanguageAt least one year's relevant business support experience in an office environment to include: Effective use of computerised information management systems.
Working as part of a team to deliver frontline customer service to members of the public and/or external organisations.
The ability to deal efficiently with large volumes of work and prioritise competing demands.
A qualification that demonstrates competency in working with office technology, i.e.
