Who You'll Work WithThe Cisco Security Business Group is looking to hire a Developer to join the Cisco AnyConnect/Secure Client Team. Join a dynamic team that has deployed products on over 200 million of the latest devices including iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms.
Who You AreBasic Qualifications 7+ years software development experience to include SW design, development on end-user operating systems, and desktop and network troubleshooting experience.Master's or Bachelor's with 7+ years related experience.1+ years experience as a Technical Lead (or equivalent responsibilities)Superior, highly technical experience programming with C++Experience with desktop software development on Windows and/or macOSExperience communicating directly with customers, product management, and other stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications Experience with code collaboration tools, GitHub and/or Perforce, C++ development.Desire to work on mobile platforms including Apple iOS and Android, including development with Swift and/or Objective-C.Thorough understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols including IP (v4 and v6), TCP, and UDP. Knowledge of network security concepts including Encryption, Key Negotiation, and Certificates/PKI, and network security protocols including SSL/TLS/DTLS, IKE/IPSec, EAP protocols, RADIUS, and 802.11i.Experience with Linux development.Strong preference for candidates with a MSEE or MS/CS.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Why Cisco SecureWe're global, we're adaptable, we're diverse, and our security portfolio is as extensive as it is groundbreaking. Message to ApplicantsWhen available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training.
