Lynch's Bakery, Mace, Old Leighlin, Co. Carlow, R93DX62 is looking for a Full-Time Cake Decorator to join our team of Confectioners in our Production Facility in Co. Carlow.
We are seeking a skilled cake decorator to design and decorate birthday and occasion cakes according to customers' specifications and preferences, and assist with the day-to-day running of our busy bakery. The ideal candidate should keep up to date with the latest styles, techniques, and trends in cake decoration, demonstrating creativity and attention to detail.
Main Duties & Responsibilities: Design and decorate celebration cakes according to orders. Manage all mixing of colours for icings and make sugar ornaments. Produce high-quality, high-volume cakes. Ensure quality control of all products before sending to retail outlets. Decorate regular bakery items according to established bakery standards. Assist baking staff with the production of standard bakery items. Produce different kinds of icing, frosting, and cake fillings based on cake type and customer preferences. Clean and sanitise all work areas and ovens, as well as baking and decorating equipment. Cake Decorator Requirements: Proven baking and cake decorating experience. The ability to use various cake decorating instruments and tools. Detail-oriented. Artistic and creative. Excellent time management skills. Effective communication skills.
