Calibration Support engineer Hanley Calibration ltd are looking for a Calibration Support Engineer to work within the Engineering team at our clients site in Waterford.
The successful candidate will support the following functions: Planning and Scheduling, CMMS support, Project planning, Document Management, CAD and Drawing management.
We are a multi-discipline team working in support functions across the site.
The role will offer the successful candidate growth and development opportunities across multiple departments.
The following are an example of some of the responsibilities of the role.
        Apply a proactive and methodical approach to troubleshooting daily production issues with cross functional teams;         Perform detailed, technical breakdown analysis of losses / inefficiencies in your work stream, and ensure that quantitative and qualitative data is readily available to stakeholders in a timely manner.
        Work with cross functional teams to enhance Safety, Quality, and environmental performance.
        Work with Operations, Quality and Engineering teams to develop process improvements.
        Apply the latest techniques to solve important business problems in the areas of asset/production management and predictive maintenance.
        Participate in an Agile methodology in identifying issues and solutions.
        Utilisation of Electrical and Instrumentation system boundaries, cable schedules, P&IDs, Schematic drawings, etc.
Key areas of responsibility         Planning/scheduling of monthly works         Management of daily schedule for team of Calibration technicians.
        Planning of support works - (LOTO / Vendor support)         Engineering project management         CMMS support         Data management and reporting using data analytic tools Minimum requirements         NFQ Level 8 degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) discipline with a minimum of 2.1         Strong computer literacy including Intermediate (Microsoft suite)         Understanding of Preventive/ Corrective Maintenance practices.
        Good communication skills         Meticulous eye for detail         Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team essential         Enthusiastic self-starter.
Preferred experience Database analytic tools - literacy (Cognos, Spotfire) Calibration experience/Knowledge GMP/GDP knowledge Salary & Benefits: Competitive Salary with room to grow as experience dictates 5% contributory pension scheme VHI allowance Education & study support provided Employee Assistance Program Annual performance Bonus provided
