This State of the Art Hospital has experienced significant growth in recent years they are now seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Radiographer to join their team on a permanent basis, either full-time or part time. The successful candidate: You will join a team leading Radiologists. You will work with the latest technology and systems. You will work with highly skilled Radiographers within a workplace culture that is inclusive, efficient, innovative, and engaged. Position Overview: As a Senior Cath Lab Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services and ensuring optimal patient care. You will be competent in operating Cath Lab imaging equipment and related software. Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality imaging procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterisations. Operate and maintain specialiased imaging equipment with precision and care. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process. Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. Assist in the preparation and aftercare of patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Stay updated with advancements in cardiac imaging technology and techniques, and participate in ongoing professional development. Supervise and mentor junior radiographers and radiography students as needed. Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Eligibility Criteria: Must hold a Diploma/Degree of Radiography. Must hold CORU registration You will have a minimum 1 year experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting Advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. Proficiency in operating Cath Lab imaging equipment and related software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Commitment to continuous professional development and education. Excellent time management skills and clear attention to detail Excellent Communications skills and the ability to support and contribute to the team.
