As an HSE Approved Service Provider we deliver tailored services offering part time and full-time support to our clients.
Well established in our office locations in Dun Laoghaire and Dundrum, we also have a strong and growing private clientele.

What the Care Coordinator role involves: Ongoing maintenance of Clients daily and weekly Carer visits Identifying suitable and available Carers for New Clients Meeting Carers and working to create regular and sustainable Client visits for them Scheduling of daily rotas and forward planning including managing holiday and sick leave Using our specialist rostering software to ensure effective utilisation of Carers time Communicating regularly with Clients and managing their expectations Live monitoring and updating of the Carer App Dealing with ongoing variations or changes to Clients scheduling requirements Dealing with ongoing variations or changes to Carers availability to work Communicating effectively on all routine and emergency situations in a calm, reassuring and decisive manner Participating in bi-weekly team meetings Working closely with Care Managers and Quality Managers to understand the requirements of Clients and Carers for effective matching Providing support to other team members and other aspects of business operations as needed Participate in the Back up On-call rota after an initial settling-in period (approx.
one weekday evening per week for 3 months on and 3 months off).
This is a back up to support the on call operator only if needed.
What skills and experience the New Care Coordinator should possess: Communication A confident, quick thinking, calm and reassuring manner An ability to feel and communicate empathy for people An excellent command of the English language A professional telephone manner and confidence dealing with people of all backgrounds An ability to be persuasive and to influence others Work style Must like a busy, fast paced environment with an ability to remain calm and focused An ability to prioritise and problem solve in real time Ownership of responsibility and an ability to use initiative under pressure Very strong planning and organisation skills Strong IT skills / aptitude, and an aptitude to learn new software quickly An ability to retain and act on complex information from multiple sources A satisfaction in solving multiple challenges daily Strong problem solving and planning implementation skills Experience At least three years of professional working experience A minimum of one year's office experience in a fast-paced environment A minimum of 6-12 months in a rostering or scheduling role ideally in Homecare A proven record of independent and collaborative teamwork High level of interaction and communication in previous role Preferred Health sector experience or qualifications - preferred but not essential A genuine interest in the homecare industry A positive and resilient personality Experience working collaboratively within a small team What we offer: Salary range €34,000 - €40,000 per annum, depending on experience Structured training and Induction and peer/team support Regular office based working hours 9:00 - 5:00pm Monday to Friday Funding and support for future professional development Regular reviews and recognition of contribution and performance Paid car parking The opportunity to work with a fun and supportive team Belonging to an ethical and well regarded company Visit www.heritagehomecare.ie for more information about the Company.
