Ideally, you will have experience in themost/all of the following; 1-6 year+ PQE in Irish Employment Law (Contentious & Non-Contentious), Employer side Solicitors will ideally have experience and/or trained with Tier 1/Tier 2/Tier 3 Ranked firms, Top/Mid or boutique Employment law firms in Ireland, Northern Ireland or the UK TUPE, contentious and corporate assistance in TUPE related matters Corporate transactions and TUPE law.
Advising on a wide range of employment issues such as; managing dismissals, defending High Court injunctions and WRC claims, workforce restructuring, discrimination, workplace investigations, disciplinary procedures, performance management, enforceability of post-termination restrictive covenants, employment financial services regulatory issues, gender pay gap compliance, managing sickness absence and other day to day employment issues; Claims before the WRC (Workplace Relations Commission) and Labour Court Guiding and advising clients through current, pending employment legislation and regulation and delivering pragmatic and flexible solutions Candidates will have excellent technical knowledge of all current/impending Irish employment legislation and case law.
