A Facilities Technician is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based electronics manufacturing client.
Reporting into the Facilities Supervisor - you will maintain and improve the condition of the plant, equipment , utilities, buildings through preventative and reactive maintenance.
THE ROLE: * Reporting into the Facilities Supervisor - you will maintain and improve the condition of the plant, equipment , utilities, buildings through preventative and reactive maintenance.
* Help to maintain the security of the site and perform duties in pursuance of current Health and Safety legislation and regulations.
* Support the Facilities Supervisor on all tasks as assigned via the company CMMS (Certified Maintenance Management System REQUIREMENTS: * Technical qualification is desirable but relevant trade/maintenance experience is acceptable.
* Competent in maintenance activities / experience in a manufacturing environment an advantage * Full Driving License * Experience in CMMS an advantage.
* Formal training in all safety and regulatory activities will be provided as required such as manual handling, work at height, abrasive wheels etc.
