Job OverviewAs a Category Manager at Britvic, you will drive soft drinks category growth through the design and implementation of category strategy, range and space planning, working in partnership with priority customers omni-channel. You will be responsible for building and maintaining credible long-term category lead relationships with our trade partners, providing clear and actionable insight platforms to help develop category groups delivering mutual insight-led growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, develop and deliver regular category reviews with customersUtilise and understand Nielsen, Kantar, Talysis, Dunnhumby and Circana data systems to generate information for category reviews and ongoing category management, alongside managing external agency partner relationshipsDeliver planogram management and creation – SKU optimisation, shelf position and space planning solutions utilising relevant planogram/space planning softwareMonitor implementation and review of range recommendations seeking continuous opportunities for growthBring the shopper and consumer view to new product development, promotional plans and joint business plansBe "the champion" at maintaining category standards and objectivityLive and breathe category management processes and maintain best practiceSupport and coach category team membersSupport our category strategic vision of the futureRequirementsCurrently working within a Category and/or Insight function, with 3+ years' experienceFMCG experience preferred, with direct experience within the Convenience/Away from Home sector an added bonusDay-to-day expert user of Nielsen, Kantar, Talysis, and Circana data systemsExperienced user of Category planogram software (e.g. Nielsen Spaceman, DotActiv, zVisuel etc)Adept at turning large data sources into concise, compelling narrativesTrack record of turning insight into action, and formulating clear plans for category growthAbility to work effectively and build relationships in a team environment, interacting with all levels and functions of the organizationInnovative, solution-oriented mindset with problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, particularly skilled with effective prioritizationProficiency within Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPointBritvic ValuesAt Britvic, we're passionate about creating drinks that bring joy to everyday moments.
