Job Title: IT Strategic Sourcing Category Expert Job Description As an IT Strategic Sourcing Category Expert, you will be responsible for negotiating multi-million dollar licensing agreements with suppliers.
This role also includes the development and execution of sourcing strategies to leverage relationships across the enterprise and achieve the best total value.
Sourcing Responsibilities Responsible for negotiating IT Master agreements (Licenses agreements, SaaS services, professional/consulting services) with support from internal Legal teams Lead and manage multiple negotiations with strategic suppliers with multi-million dollar spend and will work independently on most of the deals requiring minimum management oversight.
Responsible for leading global cross functional teams through the supplier selection process and for the approval of selected suppliers by stakeholders.
The team-based supplier selection process is inclusive of identification of potential suppliers, RFX development and execution, proposal evaluation against business requirements and total cost of ownership, and supplier selection recommendation.
Upon supplier section, negotiate and contracting with suppliers.
Challenge Suppliers and internal Stakeholders to identify and deliver Value and Savings within the assigned IT Category Strategic Responsibilities Support category strategies for the assigned category: Develop category expertise, create/develop category strategies in line with business roadmap, implement and enforce the strategy, insure that category strategy's result in and generate roadmaps of savings and value streams, and where appropriate, innovation opportunities Supplier relationship management: Lead Quarterly business reviews, supplier roadmaps meetings etc for IT Licensing Suppliers like Salesforce, Adobe, Pega, Google Collaborate & present to senior stakeholders: Build and nourish the relationship with key internal senior stakeholders.
Identify improvement areas within business to support cost optimization Operational Responsibilities Maintain a working knowledge of legal terms, local laws, regulations, Information security and GDRP compliance etc as well as any internal policies (eg code of ethics) or procedures to ensure that the behaviour exhibited by the organization with the highest level of integrity, honesty, and transparency.
Remain current with market trends through relationships with suppliers and market experts; identify and communicate new technologies and solutions to key problems in the assigned IT Category area.
Working knowledge on Sourcing system like Ariba is an added advantage Essential Skills Proven experience in procurement.Strong project management skills.
