Job Description Aramark Food Services is currently recruiting for a Catering supervisor to work in Bishopstown Campus.The successful candidate will have responsibility for all aspects of the catering operation to include administration, training, cash handling, HR, staff management, menu planning, financial compliance, ordering, hospitality, themed events and promotions.
This person should also have the ability to recognise and implement cost savings, maintain GP targets, drive sales and reduce costs.
The role will be required to support operations and the supervision of the catering team on a day to day basis.
This is a permanent position, Monday to Friday and the hours of work are 7am to 3pm Job Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: • Full responsibility for the ordering, preparing and serving of catering including hot/cold beverages, sandwiches, salads, cakes and confectionary • Full responsibility for till and daily cash reconciliation • Full responsibility for placing supplier orders • To work with the Catering Manage and Regional Manager to ensure all client requirements are met • To achieve budgeted costs in relation to food, staffing, and overheads • To ensure the highest standards of Health and Safety and HACCP are maintained in the catering facility • To maintain good communications and working relationship with the onsite client • To maintain a professional approach and promote a positive image at all times Qualifications Candidate Requirements: • Experience working within a similar role within the catering/hospitality industry • Third level qualification preferred (HACCP/Culinary/Catering) • Previous people management experience • Strong communication and client relationship management skills • Flexible and able to work on own initiative All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence Aramark Northern Europe is an equal opportunities employer
