Barden are delighted to be exclusively engaged to identify a CFO for a thriving business here in Cork.
This role sits at the leadership table and reports directly to the CEO of the business.
Key responsibilities will be to oversee the Finance Function of the group and the day-to-day management of the finance team over multiple divisions.
The company has grown significantly over the last number of years and plans to continue this growth, aiming to double in size over the next 5 years.
An opportunity exists for a talented ambitious person to join the organisation at the executive level and to play an integral part of this exciting journey.
The successful candidate should have a proven track record in managing a business of scale and leading and supporting their team as well as demonstrating an ambition to grow with the business and contribute to strategic decision-making.
ABOUT THE ROLEOverseeing the entire finance function, managing and developing the finance team, streamlining control processes to enhance accuracy, and continuously improving processes to support informed decision-making.Ensuring compliance with various tax and statutory obligations, financial reporting standards, company law, and company secretarial compliance.
The role also involves assisting in tax planning and corporate structuring.Oversee financial audits to ensure timely completion, including the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the subgroup and overall group.Responsible for all areas of financial management including budgets for business units, reviewing cash flow analysis, providing financial information for executive/board meetings and reports to the CEO.Oversee the treasury function ensuring appropriate capital for various strategic initiatives.Ensuring the most appropriate systems and robust controls are in place.Business partner to fellow executive team members.ABOUT THE PERSONProfessional Accountancy qualification with 10+ years PQE.Ambitious with proven ability to manage and support team improvement.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent attention to detail coupled with strategic thinking ability.Organized and efficient with ability to prioritize workload.Apply with your CV.
