Since we opened our doors in 2009, the world of commerce has evolved immensely, and so has Square. After enabling anyone to take payments and never miss a sale, we saw sellers stymied by disparate, outmoded products and tools that wouldn't work together.

So we expanded into software and started building integrated, omnichannel solutions – to help sellers sell online, manage inventory, offer buy now, pay later functionality through Afterpay, book appointments, engage loyal buyers, and hire and pay staff. Across it all, we've embedded financial services tools at the point of sale, so merchants can access a business loan and manage their cash flow in one place. Afterpay furthers our goal to provide omnichannel tools that unlock meaningful value and growth, enabling sellers to capture the next generation shopper, increase order sizes, and compete at a larger scale.

Today, we are a partner to sellers of all sizes – large, enterprise-scale businesses with complex operations, sellers just starting, as well as merchants who began selling with Square and have grown larger over time. As our sellers grow, so do our solutions. There is a massive opportunity in front of us. Job DescriptionThe Channel Sales team is a new Sales team that is being created to solve a large opportunity within Square: harnessing the horsepower of our extensive partner network to drive quality lead generation and referrals to Square Sales. This newly formed team will work with Square Partnerships to deepen and expand existing partnerships to create lead-generation opportunities with audience associations, industry partners, and resellers, effectively becoming a single point of contact for our partner sales and account manager teams. You will coordinate co-selling opportunities with our mutual Partner sales lead or referral and work with our sales organisation as the liaison. This individual will build strong relationships directly with the partner sales teams including updating, reporting, and on-site meetings/events. This role will focus on the following markets: Ireland, France and Spain.
Reporting into the Global Head of Channel Sales, the ideal candidate has a passion for building relationships, and possesses the ability to strategically increase efficiency and help mutually beneficial relationships win.
This role is based in Ireland with work from home opportunities.
You Will: Build trust and rapport with the partners sales and account management contactsAlign with partner manager and partner on process for co-selling & generating referral opportunities for our sales teamProvide the partner visibility into the pipeline progression of the joint prospect opportunitiesHelp partners with enablement and training of the Square ecosystemEducate internally on the value prop of our partners for bi-directional referralsDocument key insights on why we win/lose a dealMeet regularly with respective SQ Partner ManagerMaintain accurate information within the Salesforce CRMMeet individual & team deadlines, KPIs, and targetsQualificationsYou Have: 5+ years of related experience across channel sales, enterprise sales, and/or solutions selling experienceFluency in French or Spanish, as well as English is preferredDemonstrated track record of meeting & exceeding KPIs and targetsExcellent communicator and strong interpersonal skills to build relationshipsExtensive understanding of industry trends and the key players in the competitive landscapeThe ability to turn data analysis into strategic insights in order to drive the partner strategySelf-starter with the ability to work fast & smart.Excellent organisational & time management skillsProactive, curious individual who loves to find solutions to problems, rather than avoiding themExpert in Salesforce and other sales tools/products to drive productivityAdditional InformationThis is a Controlled Function (CF3) role under the Central Bank of Ireland's Fitness & Probity Standards ('CBI Standards').
