Workplace Investing Digital Shared Services Chapter Leader The Team Fidelity's Workplace Investing (WI) Digital Shared Services Technology team designs, develops, implements, and supports WI's suite of Digital applications. As chapter lead, you will set the direction across the development teams through hands-on leadership.
The Expertise You Have Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skillsDemonstrated ability leading and developing technology associatesProven experience leading cross functional development teamsCritical thinking and problem-solving skills coupled with a growth mindset and an ability to collaborate effectively with key business and technology partners across the companyExperience working in an Agile software development frameworkBachelor's degree in MIS/Computer Science or related fieldThe Skills You Bring You have great communication and influencing skills and can foster a fun, collaborative and energetic team environmentYou build a culture where the team can achieve their best results by providing continuous coaching, real-time feedback and development opportunities.You can see the "big picture" impact of small decisions and are able to influence and empower others to do the sameYou show excellent judgment and strong initiativeYour role requires you to understand organisational dynamics and lead confidently through othersThe Value You Deliver Lead a development team, including hiring and performance assessments, and mentor the team to their full potentialYou will help champion and drive development standards to improve quality, efficiency, and consistencyWork with scrum masters and product owners to plan releases and coordinate development activitiesCollaborate with technology and business partners across Fidelity to provide strategic input into their roadmapsAbility to learn quickly, be flexible, adapt and strive to excel in a fast paced, changing environmentAbility to be highly organized, very responsive, and committed to quality and high standardsHow Your Work Impacts the Organization Our goal within WI Digital Shared Services is to build experiences that delight our customers, anticipate their needs and match services or solutions to support effective decision making.
