We are currently looking for a Chef de Partie for our Hotel Bar with a passion and dedicated attitude to maintain our high standard of food service.
The hotel has been awarded Great Place to Work for the second year in a row, as well as achieving Gold Level for Failte Ireland's Outstanding Employer Certification for 2024 and is in the top five luxury hotels in Dublin according to Travel & Leisure Magazine (2023).
Key Responsibilities: Maximise guest satisfaction by providing the highest food quality consistent within the relevant cost control margins of the hotel kitchen Assure adherence to The Fitzwilliam standards of food quality, preparation, recipes and presentation Assure adequate supplies for all stations are in place Support the senior chefs in co-ordinating activities and timings to ensure correct preparation and delivery time to provide food for functions, a la carte, groups, breakfast and rooms service when working in each respective area Maintain product consistency in terms of seasonings, portions, and food appearance Maintain a strong relationship with other kitchen personnel Ability to work in a team at times and on own initiative at other times Be able to self-motivate to ensure that mis-en-place is always prepared for day ahead Have a strong creative flare for food presentation and be able to bring new ideas to menu creation Ensure proper safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices are followed at all times Ability to work under pressure at times with the culinary team and other food and beverage departments Ensure readiness and compliance in case of last minute changes to reservations The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role before.
They must also have a passion for cooking and be very creative.
