Preparation and Cooking: Prepare dishes to club standards, following recipes and techniques as directed by the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef.
Team Support and Training: Mentor and guide junior chefs assigned to your station, offering training and supervision to maintain high standards across the kitchen.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels for your section, report shortages, and assist in ordering to ensure the freshness and availability of ingredients.
Quality Control: Conduct regular tastings and inspections to maintain consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation within your section.
Timing and Coordination: Ensure your section's dishes are prepared on schedule, coordinating with other kitchen sections to ensure a seamless flow.
Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain cleanliness, proper food handling, and sanitation practices within your station, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Communication: Coordinate effectively with the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and other kitchen staff to support the smooth operation of kitchen services.
Creativity and Innovation: Contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements in techniques, particularly within your area of expertise, to enhance guest experience.
Problem Solving: Resolve any issues in your section, such as equipment malfunctions or ingredient shortages, to keep service running smoothly.
Our requirements Experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a quality-focused kitchen environment.
Culinary training or equivalent experience; passion for high-quality ingredients and culinary presentation.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Proven team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable with walking, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and other physical demands in a kitchen environment.
Required visual abilities include close vision, colour vision, and depth perception.
