We are recruiting a Chef to work in one of our staff restaurants in Dublin.
This role would suit a chef who has experience in Contract Catering.
A passion for fresh food and ability to use initiative around menu planning and presentation is required.
The role is 39 hours per week.Pattern of work Early of Late Shifts.
Required Skills for this role: You will support and assist the Chef Manager in the delivery of the catering service in line with CCSL standards by, Providing excellent service to all customers and other relevant stakeholders.
Assisting in the preparation and presentation of food to a consistently high standard in line with company and client requirements.
Assisting in the catering for events and functions and the organization of these events..
Participating in the preparation of weekly menus which take into account food trends; menu variety and seasonal products.
Achieving and maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and quality in line with company procedures.
Assisting with stock takes on a regular basis; monitoring stock levels and ordering stock as required.
Monitoring of and ensuring compliance with health & safety standards in the kitchen.
Assisting in the achievement of Gross Profit targets as required by Corporate Catering.
This includes portion control and control of food wastage.
Complying with and maintaining the ISO quality standard.
Communicating effectively with colleagues; manager and other relevant stakeholders.
Representing the company on a day to day basis to the best of your ability.
Complying with all policies and procedures introduced by CCSL and as agreed with our client..
Working effectively as a team member of CCSL.
