Chefs Assistant

Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club is currently recruiting for a full-time Chefs Assistant To work as part of the kitchen team in their fully refurbished restaurant, bar & function space.
The successful applicant will have experience of working in a kitchen, and be willing to learn quickly, as well as being a fluent English speaker.
Excellent hygiene and HACCP experience required.
Requirements: Checking in food deliveries and ensuring they are stored in the correct manner Basic food preparation including fruit salad, salad leaves, scones, brown bread, etc.
Sandwich preparation and making, both in advance and to order Some preparation and production of hot foods eg.
Cooking hams, chicken and pastries Maintain excellent food hygiene, completing in-house training, and ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic Ability to work independently and as a team player, communicating with senior chefs about different tasks and orders Authorised to work full time in Ireland - the company isn't offering visa/sponsorship or relocation packages for this role Benefits: Meals on duty Annual Bonus Bike to work scheme Staff events throughout the year Training & development Employee Assistance Program Job Type:Full-time, Permanent Pay: €30,000 per year Work Location: Onsite (Ranelagh) Work Pattern: Daytime hours, 5 days Monday-Saturday
