We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full time Childcare Montessori Manager to join our team located in our new purpose built school based in Dundrum, Dublin 14.
The role is to manage all aspects of the day-to-day organisation & operation of the centre to the highest standards.
> To take day to day responsibility for children and staff > To lead ECCE & NCS Scheme provision for pre-schoolers > To ensure high standards of care at the centre at all times > To develop the curriculum in line with Aistear and Siolta.
Prepare long term, medium term and short term plans > Ensure a good standard of hygiene > Attend meetings and undertake training as required > Lead and facilitate staff meetings > Revise policies and procedures as required > Adhere to Child Protection Policy of the service and report any concerns > Manage a budget and maintain accounts > Maintain all records as required by HIVE, Pobal and the HSE > Represent the service during HSE, DES and Pobal Inspections > To develop ongoing positive relationships with parents > To co-ordinate recruitment, induction, appraisal and training requirements for staff > Be able to take charge and direct children and staff in case of an emergency > Perform any other reasonable duties that may be assigned from time to time > Warm, caring and energetic individual with a genuine love for children & responsiveness to the needs of children What we require from candidates: Minimum QQI Level 6 in Childcare or the equivalent.
First Aid, FAR course is an advantage Minimum 1 year work experience in childcare managerial role Completed Garda Vetting/Police Clearance Fluent English & excellent communication skills with children, staff, parents & government bodies What we offer: Competitive salary based on qualification & experience Ongoing training & education opportunities Career Development Closed over Christmas to New Year and two weeks during the summer so that the whole team and relax and reset.
