JOB DESCRIPTION We are actively looking for dedicated and passionate childcare workers to join our Early Childhood Development Service (ECDS) team. Below, I have provided a detailed job specification for your reference.

Job Specification: Location of Vacancies: St. Louise's ECDS, Dublin 1 St. Joseph's ECDS, Dublin 8 Mabuhay ECDS, Laytown, Co. Meath Tír na nÓg ECDS, Dublin 8 Goldenbridge ECDS, Inchicore, Dublin 8 St. Vincent's ECDS, Ballyfermot Key Responsibilities: Education Delivery: Develop and implement educational programs that align with Aistear and Siolta standards. Utilise the High Scope approach to support children's learning and development, if applicable. Child Development: Promote the holistic development of children through engaging and age-appropriate activities. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages children's curiosity and learning. Documentation and Evaluation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and activities. Use evaluation mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of educational programs and interventions. Utilise file-keeping software such as Salesforce to manage records and reports efficiently. Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with the ECDS Manager and other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to child development. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's progress and any concerns. Qualifications and Experience: A FETAC/QQI Level 6, 7, or 8 qualification in childcare or a related field is required. Demonstrated experience delivering education in accordance with Aistear and Siolta standards. Familiarity with the High Scope approach is highly desirable. Proven experience in evaluating the outcomes of educational programs and activities. Proficiency in using file-keeping software such as Salesforce is advantageous. Skills and Attributes: Strong understanding of early childhood development principles. Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
