Job Description SS&C GIDS SS&C is the largest global investor service provider, servicing more than 55 million investors. Continually investing in global technology and services across the spectrum of distribution channels including: Asset Managers, Financial Advisors, Wealth Managers and large financial institutions such as Banks and Insurers. Investor servicing is offered in many different countries, including the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Luxembourg, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore. Global Investor and Distribution Solutions (GIDS) is the business unit offering this role. GIDS delivers global omni-channel investor servicing, including contact centre, using digital services.
About the Role GIDS Ireland is a leader in technology and BPO services for the Life and Pensions Administration area. The CIO for GIDS Ireland will lead business unit technology providing high quality, resilient, scalable and cost-effective IT solutions aligned to the business strategy. This includes responsibility for the development and support of SS&C applications supporting this business and for the delivery of technology programmes for the business and its clients.
Your Responsibilities Lead the technology organisation supporting GIDS Ireland. This organisation consists of technology resources in Ireland, India and China that provide systems development, testing and support.Owner for the SS&C and third-party business applications used to support the business.Responsible for the technology services provided to GIDS Ireland staff and clients working closely with SS&C corporate IT and GIDS global technology teams.Your Experience Excellent management and leadership skills, with a proven track record of delivering excellent levels of IT services to large global operational functions.Deep experience of Financial Services IT and operational management involving high volumes of transactions.Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills and experience of directly managing globally distributed teams.High levels of business, technology, and financial acumen with an understanding of company strategy, operating environment and business objectives.Awareness of the latest available Digital technology to support the operational functions.An in-depth knowledge of technology best practice and experience of implementing processes, procedures and standards in a technology role.Proven experience of change management and delivering major technology projects.
