Job DescriptionOur client are an Irish engineering design consultancy that specialise in Civil, Structural Design and Project Management.he successful candidate will be required to carry out the necessary design and project management on a variety of civil & structural projects undertaken by the practice.Control of internal design processClient liaisonContract administrationTechnical surveys and reportSite inspectionsProject administrationRequirementsDegree in Civil or Structural engineeringMinimum of 3 Years experience post graduationChartered member of Engineers Ireland (IEI) or the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE)Experience in the design and co-ordination of civil & structural projectsExperience in the design of steel, concrete, masonry & timber structuresExperience of preparing Contract documents and Project ManagementExperience of the inspection of construction worksAbility to work in compliance with a Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2008)Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and organisational skillsTechnical competence and knowledge of relevant design codes and Building Regulations.Proficient in the use of civil & structural design software including Autocad, CSC/ Tekla , Fastrack, Tedds, Robot, MicrodrainageExperience of BIM would be an advantageSelf-motivated & career focusedFull driving licencePackageSalary based on experience and negotiable for the right candidateThis is a full time, permanent staff position in which someone with the right skills can grow in the position and progress
