Classic Car Technician

We have a rare opportunity with an independent Vintage Car Restoration company who are looking to appoint an experienced and passionate Engine Builder / Classic Vehicle Technician to join their team.
This is a unique opportunity, working in excellent facilities you will be responsible for the stripping back and rebuilding of complete engines on vintage vehicles, and associated work.
You will be able to read complex engineering drawings with great understanding.
Working on Classic petrol engines, in particular distributor type ignition systems and carburettor type fuel systems.
You will be responsible for the full diagnosis of mechanical issues when restoring Vintage Motor Vehicles.
For this Classic Vehicle Technician/Engine Builder position:
You will have great attention to detail, with a good knowledge of quality standards and excellent workmanship.
You will be proactive, with a can-do attitude, working well with a team of other technicians but also be able to use your own initiative.
You will be time efficient, working well under pressure to ensure you meet time deadlines.
You will be responsible for filling out appropriate paperwork and ensuring safety standards are being met at all times.

Hours:
Based on 42.5 hours per week, plus Overtime.
