Cleaner

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables   To follow the Catering Hygiene Policy guidelines along with Aramark's dress code policy in maintaining a clean uniform and hygienic appearance at all times.  Co - operate fully and participate with / in all Health and safety training programmes.  Follow all health and safety regulations.  Comply with and adhere to all Aramark and Hospital policies and procedures.  Responsible for all basic cleaning in the building.
Dusting from top to bottom all areas in the building.   Checking, cleaning and empties all bins in all areas and replaces liners.  Clean floors including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects from floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows.  Monitors and maintains sanitation of assigned areas.   Transport dirty cloths to correct area to be cleaned and restocks area with clean cloths.  Clean restrooms including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitising fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning doors and walls / tiles, sweeping and mopping floors and cleaning toilets and urinals.  Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.  Stock and maintain supply rooms, responsible for receiving and checking deliveries.   Co - operate with the rest of the staff.  Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.  Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.  Report any accident or injuries to the Manager on duty immediately.  Performs additional duties as needed.
