Reporting Relationship: As assigned Main Duties & Responsibilities: Providing Reception cover and associated duties Maintaining the administration element required in assigned Area/Department Maintain and develop database systems to support the service Effective records and filing retrieval system in line with FOI Act Ensuring accurate attention to detail and consistent adherence to procedures within areas of responsibility Ensuring deadlines are met and service levels maintained Maintain electronic diary and calendar bookings Screening of telephone calls and appropriate action Support the assigned manager in meeting preparation, including but not limited to, booking meeting rooms, issuing notifications, recording the meeting and providing an accurate set of minutes for distribution following meetings Provide necessary support in relation to HIQA/New Directions and other regulatory bodies where required Provide support to the overall function of the Organisation as required e.g.

Maintain strict confidentiality relating to matters regarding personnel and services.
Attend and actively participate in staff meetings as required.
Actively participate in supervisory support as per Organisation Procedure.
General: Promote and develop good community networks, which support inclusion and integration for persons supported.
Promote a positive image and name of the Association in the wider community.
Be accountable and responsible for input into service planning and delivery, together with job performance as per role within the Association.
Promote dignity at work and show respect to persons supported, colleagues and stakeholders in the course of duty.
Act in a confidential manner when dealing with personal information relating to persons supported, families and staff.
Attend staff training events as required and implement learning in the workplace.
Perform any other appropriate duties as requested by manager/supervisor.
