Servisource is currently recruiting aClerical Officer VIfor a public sector Contract length: Temporary Salary: 30.17 an hour Working week: 35h/week Monday to Friday Location: Ballinasloe, Co. Galway The main duties and responsibilities are: Project Management Work to support the project owners/ sponsors and project teams to implement robust project management methodology in line with programme management methodologies and processes to enable successful project performance and delivery Work with the Project Sponsor and all key stakeholders to define, manage and control project scope and requirements Develop an integrated process for the identification and management of risks and issues across the portfolio Develop a process for the identification, management and tracking of programme benefits/ outcome measures Project reporting Develop and maintain a standard suite of project reports to meet the requirements of key stakeholders Implement a consistent and standardised process of project tracking and reporting across the portfolio using a HSE approved software tool# Programme risk, issue and dependency management: Support the project sponsor/ owner and project team to identify impediments and issues facing delivery and support the development of appropriate mitigation actions Map and plan for the management of dependencies and liaise with Project Managers to ensure that dependencies are effectively managed Governance and Assurance Support the successful implementation of the projects through the application of project governance and project controls so that the appropriate level of project governance is in place, maintained and adhered to Implement an end to end model of Programme Assurance Communications / stakeholder management Ensure that highly effective communication mechanisms and processes are in place to manage, motivate and influence multiple project stakeholders To act as spokesperson for the Organisation as required Demonstrate pro-active commitment to all communications with internal and external stakeholders General Ensure accurate attention to detail and consistent adherence to procedures and existing standards within the HSE and its arrangements with third parties, Maintain an excellent level of knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and practices to perform the role effectively and to ensure standards are met by the Transformation Office and its partners Have a working knowledge of the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) Standards as they apply to the role for example, Standards for Healthcare, National Standards for the Prevention and Control of Healthcare Associated Infections, Hygiene Standards etc.
and comply with associated HSE protocols for implementing and maintaining these standards as appropriate to the role To support, promote and actively participate in sustainable energy, water and waste initiatives to create a more sustainable, low carbon and efficient health service ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Experience of working on and supporting the delivery of projects.
Strong experience in the creation of professional documents and reports, as relevant to the role Experience of working collaboratively with stakeholders, including senior stakeholders and management as relevant to this role Advanced MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Visio and MS Excel skills with high level working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases.
Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
