The project: We are looking for a potential candidate for client engineer to work in a Customer facing role for future offshore wind projects.
The ideal candidate will have offshore wind power experience however offshore oil and gas experience may be considered.

You will manage delivery from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of the Associate Director and other senior leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.

Demonstrating enthusiasm to drive development and delivery of large infrastructure projects.

Preparing and updating formal project progress reports such as monthly reports including financial, budget and project schedule reporting.

Development of governance papers and reports to support the approval process.

You'll need to have: Substantial experience as a Geotechnical Engineer along with experience with Offshore Substation Platforms – Mechanical, Structural.
Digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
A construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
You'll also have: Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
Property or infrastructure project management expertise.
Commercial and financial acumen.
Experience of leading parts of projects within large, diverse teams.
Experience of developing and forming relationships with senior stakeholders.
Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
