ROLE PURPOSE The Clinical Application Specialist (CAS) will provide expert support and training for cardiovascular ultrasound products. The CAS will deliver high-quality education to our customers, work with Product Manager to set up and manage product demonstrations and provide customer training following new installations. This role is critical in building and nurturing relationships with our current install base. KEY RESPONSIBILITES Provide ongoing clinical support across Brennan & Co's client's product range to, hospitals, medical research institutions and 3rd level institutions in Ireland.
Collaborate with the Product Manager to organise and manage product demonstrations.
Provide customer training following new product installations to ensure seamless integration.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers.
Assist the sales team by providing specialist clinical expertise and in-depth product knowledge.
Work with the service team to address and resolve clinical issues.
Keep up to date with the latest advancements in clinical procedures and ultrasound technology.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Qualified Cardiac Sonographer with at least 5 years of clinical experience, including echocardiography.
British/American/European or equivalent accreditation in echocardiography or similar qualification.
Strong understanding of the Irish hospital environment (HSE or Private Hospitals).
Full clean drivers' license
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE Familiarity with cardiac diagnostics, including stress testing, TOE, DSE, and interventional/surgical procedures.
Exposure to advanced techniques such as 3D/4D scanning.
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED Capable of working autonomously and as part of a team
Self-starter with high motivation.
Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with Consultants, Surgeons, Cardiac Physiologists, Bio-engineering, and Nursing staff.
Ability to design and deliver customer training plans.
Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally overseas, sometimes on short notice.
