Clinical Applications Specialist

Purpose of Role: The primary focus of the role is to support customers implementing new equipment solutions in healthcare settings throughout the island of Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional training and service support to customers and colleagues across Cardiac Services.
They will also provide clinical insight into equipment and service provision and contribute to the development of the Service & Education Team in cardiac Services.
  Principal Duties and Responsibilities:      Onsite customer training & support.
Provide clinical support, insight & education to colleagues across the business.
Respond to customer queries/issues in a timely & professional manner, provide customers with advice on products and ensure product configurations are appropriate for their clinical placements.
Communication & interaction with colleagues to monitor planned installations, schedule with customers, liaise with colleagues & exceed customer expectations.
Maintain professional registration as appropriate and establish & maintain certification, for customer training, with all required suppliers.
Maintenance of training records in electronic and/or paper format.
Participation in Clinical Education programs, delivered to customers and colleagues.
Contribute to the development of the Training & Education Team, participate in improvement projects and commitment to the principle of continuous improvement across the business.
Full training will be provided, this will include travel to our supplier's premises, typically in mainland Europe.
  Requirements Clinical qualification in Nursing or a related healthcare discipline & minimum of 3 years' experience in a related role.
  Ideally a third level qualification in Nursing, Education, Training, or a related discipline.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, strong customer focused approach.
Well organized with excellent attention to detail.
Knowledge & experience of MS Office platform.
Full, clean driver's licence, this role will involve travel throughout Ireland.

The Service & Education Division provides a comprehensive equipment repair service as well as offering a range of training courses.
