Clinical Directorate Senior Nurse Manager (Surgery)

The Clinical Directorate Senior Nurse Manager will work as part of the Clinical Directorate Senior Management Team and with other directorates to ensure the delivery of the hospital's objectives.

The post-holder will provide strategic clinical and professional leadership (in conjunction with the Clinical Lead and Operations Manager) and play a key role in the delivery of operational performance targets, waiting list and financial management and bed utilisation/management.
The post-holder will also provide the strategic direction for the future development of nursing within the Directorate, including the development of nurse led initiatives, research and practice development.
