We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM1) to join our Family Support Service West Team.
Contract Type: Full Time Permanent
Salary Scale: €49,763 to €59,008 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments).
Annual Leave Entitlement: 34 - 37 days pro rata per annum (dependent on years' service).
Overall Purpose of the Post: The purpose of this post is to work within the family support team including Preschool, Connect program, home support service, and adult services. They will be providing a service to children and adults with complex disability needs.
Main Responsibilities: Providing nursing support to children active on the family support caseload while working within an Interdisciplinary Team Model.Involvement in and espousing a Family Centered Practice approach through the development of Individual family and child support plans/care plans (IFSP).Clinical leadership and quality assurance.Staff training in the management and administration of medication including rescue medication.Resource management and clinical expertise in team development and practice development within the family support department for children and young people with complex disabilities.The post holder will be required to work across a range of settings including the centre-based preschool and after-school services, schools and special preschools, service user homes, and community settings.Minimum Requirements: Registered Nurse (RNID/RGN/RCN) with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).Minimum 3 years post qualification experience.Evidence of CPD.Possess a full clean driver's licence and have access to own transport.Annual registration: On appointment, Practitioners must maintain live annual registration on the relevant division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).Confirm annual registration with NMBI to Enable Ireland.Minimum 2 years' experience of working with people with disabilities.In the event of a high volume of applicants, Desirable Criteria may be applied in the shortlisting process.
