With a catchment area of Kerry, North Cork & West Limerick, it services a population of approximately 180,554.
The hospital has 275 acute general beds, 50 acute psychiatric beds, and an annual budget of approximately €70 million.
The Oncology unit in UHK is a satellite unit of CUH, established in 1999 as part of the National Cancer Strategy.
It provides cancer services predominantly to those living in Kerry, but also North Cork and West Limerick.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Oncology team and contribute to service enhancement, patient experience, and quality care.
Purpose of Post The post of CNM 2 has a pivotal role in service planning, coordinating, and managing activity and resources within the clinical area.
The main responsibilities include quality assurance, resource management, staffing and staff development, practice development, facilitating communication, and providing professional/clinical leadership.
