Role Summary: As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of clinical and nursing care within our nursing home.
You will provide clinical leadership, oversee daily practices, and ensure optimal staff management and development while collaborating closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Healthcare Manager.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver outstanding nursing and social care tailored to meet individual resident needs.
Ensure compliance with home policies and clinical standards, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
Mentor and support nursing staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
Review and audit nursing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Participate in clinical handovers and address any ongoing clinical or non-clinical issues, escalating as needed.
Oversee medication management in line with NMBI guidelines and internal policies.
Conduct regular audits, providing feedback and implementing action plans for continuous improvement.
Foster a cohesive team environment, encouraging collaboration and innovation in care practices.
Manage staffing schedules, ensuring compliance with agreed staffing levels.
Liaise effectively with the Support Team, multidisciplinary team, and residents' families.
Address and document complaints, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
Supervise staff to ensure adherence to clinical standards and promote effective communication.
Requirements Qualifications & Requirements: Registered with the Irish Nursing and Midwifery Board (NMBI) with an active PIN.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a CNM role.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to collaborate within a senior management team.
Excellent decision-making and motivational skills.
Ability to work independently while fostering a positive team dynamic.
Results-oriented approach with a commitment to quality care.
