Clinical Nurse Specialist - Lung Transplant Service

The purpose of this Clinical Nurse Specialist, Lung Transplant Service is to: provide expertise and specialist nursing services to patients pre and post lung transplantation; both in the hospital and outpatient setting.The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering coordinated, evidence based care for patients and their caregivers.
S/he will demonstrate clinical expertise, actively promoting and developing a timely holistic plan of care for each patient attending the service.
In collaboration with key stakeholders the post holder will participate in the implementation of the National Clinical Care Programme objectives.
