Medforce are delighted to have partnered with a highly respected client in the social care field. We are recruiting a Clinical Support Officer who will take the lead in offering support to all healthcare professionals and support staff employed by the company. This role involves providing oversight, support, direction, and training related to the operational requirements of organizational policies and procedures across all aspects of clinical support needs for service users. Additionally, the role includes developing and delivering training supports for community staff teams to ensure safe and holistic healthcare assessment processes and clinical risk management strategies. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide direction, support, and advice to community staff teams regarding the Behavioral support and/or health and clinical care needs of residents and service users as assigned. Support and advise communities and staff teams with regard to risk assessments and risk management strategies as required. Attend Community Management Meetings as scheduled and provide guidance on further multidisciplinary team (MDT) input where necessary. Collaborate with residents, their families, staff teams, and other multidisciplinary bodies to facilitate the development and review of personal plans, support plans, and transition plans as requested. Maintain appropriate and accurate written records and reports regarding residents' or clients' care in accordance with organizational policies and procedures, as well as statutory and regulatory requirements. Provide guidance to Persons in Charge (PICs) to ensure that all healthcare and clinical practices are carried out using an evidence-based approach, maintaining a high standard in a safe environment while preserving the confidentiality and dignity of the residents or clients at all times. Conduct incident reviews and make preventative action recommendations to the Head of Services. Essential Criteria Degree in Nursing And A training qualification and or background in delivery of SAMs training or other training and development programmes A minimum of 2 years experience in a disability service-related management post Have a minimum of 5 years experience working in the disability sector Good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding requirements including Trust in Care, and Childrens First Good knowledge of Health & Safety and risk assessment and management A full drivers licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement Interested applicants are advised to apply to this post or send your CV to If you refer a candidate to us who is successfully hired, we can offer you a €150 thank you bonus!
