My client is looking to hire a talented Cloud Data Automation Engineer with a passion for innovation to shape the future of enterprise-grade cloud database solutions.
In this pivotal role, you'll join the Postgres and Distributed Database Platform Squad as a Principal Cloud Data Automation Engineer, specialising in deploying and migrating PostgreSQL and Distributed SQL Databases like CockroachDB and YugabyteDB across AWS and Azure.
This role is ideal for tech-savvy professionals eager to create scalable, automated solutions in public cloud environments.
What You'll Do:Serve as the go-to expert for automating PostgreSQL and Distributed SQL database solutions.Develop and refine database-as-a-service pipelines for multi-cloud environments.Collaborate with architects, developers, and engineers to ensure efficient, secure cloud database deployments.Implement best practices in provisioning, encryption, security, and data protection.What You Bring to the Team:Expertise in AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure engineering.Proficiency with tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Vault, and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Shell Scripting).Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation tools such as Jenkins.Knowledge of relational and distributed SQL database operations.Strong understanding of DevOps, infrastructure-as-code concepts, and Agile methodologies.Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, with a track record of working in collaborative, high-performing teams.
