Description 1.
CNC Programming * Full accountability for all areas of programming and associated applications * Maintain CNC tool Library and investigate developments in punching Technology.
* Recommend / Requisition of new and replacement tooling.
* Assist in the development / on-the-job training of all new and existing CNC operators.
* Ensure awareness of Company rules and procedures and liase / promote awareness amongst Operations team members.

Production Engineering * Work Closely with Production Supervisor / Manager and Project Engineers to ensure deadlines are met.
* Manage work - Load mix between Programming & Engineering Development Schedule * Seek improvement projects across all company product ranges.
* Demonstrate analytical skills and propose innovative solutions.
* Establish and Maintain Drawing Control systems for both Technical and shop floor applications.

General Responsibilities * Set a Personal Development Plan including any Training Requirements.
* Involvement in SMD / Company Development Plans.
* Assist induction & Coaching of new staff into the Technical Team.
* Any other duties commensurate with your role.
Profile A successful CNC Programmer should have: A strong understanding of CNC Programming and operations.
Ideally experience in Trumpf Machines Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Good communication skills to effectively liaise with team members.
A positive attitude towards learning and continuous improvement.
Job Offer A competitive salary of around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum with the potential for regular overtime at enhanced rates.
£1,000 full attendance bonus (per calendar year).
