What You Will Do: Receive mentorship from experienced Industrial Designers.Partner with Marketing, Quality, and Engineering teams.Apply research methodologies with healthcare professionals.Utilize Human Centered Design techniques.Engage in traditional sketching, model making, prototyping, and presentation techniques.Use ID and UX development tools for impactful concepts.Balance rational and creative thinking.Participate in customer research and design reviews.Communicate project updates and outcomes.
Job Responsibilities: Identify design improvement projects with team and document project plans and implement design improvements.Conduct customer research and ergonomic testing to develop concepts and prototypes.Participate in product development design reviews and ensure compliance with Quality standards.Adapt to workplace dynamics and demonstrate adaptability, reliability and great design skills.What You Need: Minimum Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor's in Industrial Design or related fields.Portfolio demonstrating design process from concept to prototyping.Experience with Illustrator; Photoshop is desirable.Proficiency in a CAD program (SolidWorks preferred).Knowledge of rendering packages like Keyshot is desirable.Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills: Honesty, integrity, and compliance with company policies.Initiative-taking, dependable, and punctual.Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.Positive attitude, creative spirit, and growth mindset.Knowledgeable in research methodologies.Ability to balance user experience with business goals.Visual thinking, organizational, and social skills.Familiarity with iterative design processes.Competency in physical model making and 3D modeling.Eagerness to learn about Human Factors and Ergonomics.Understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.Travel Percentage: None
