An exciting opportunity for an experiencedMaintenance Technicianto join our client, a leading food production company located inBallincollig, Cork on a permanent contract.
This role will be based on a Mon-Fri days based week, with some ad-hoc preventative maintenance taking place on Saturday mornings.
A mechanical/fitter background would suit this position.
Role Responsibilities: Mechanical troubleshooting of machinery.
Electro-Mechanical repairs.
Provide technical support.
Support Production team in achieving targets.
Closely monitor line and machine performance.
Co-operate and participate fully in training and development in cross-skilling and other job-related competencies.
Troubleshooting using PLC programs.
Ensure KPIs are met.
Completion rate of planned Preventative Maintenance schedule.
Role Requirements Trade Qualification is essential.
Mechanical/Electrical background essential.
Diagnostic and/or troubleshooting experience preferred.
Able to work on own initiative.
FMCG experience beneficial.
