My client has a new opening for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their fast-growing and innovative organization.
About the Role: As the Quality Engineer, you will manage and lead the Quality team, ensuring the highest standards of product and system quality.
You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS), resolving quality issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with the management and production teams.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the Quality team, maintaining and improving the QMS.
Manage the Returns department and ensure timely closure of investigations.
Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions using root cause analysis and proven quality tools.
Drive product and process quality improvements across the organization.
Oversee quality activities, including inspections, KPI reporting, and data analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Conduct and report on internal audits, closing out non-conformances effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production and Engineering, to implement quality measures.
Lead notified body audits and ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, including ISO9001:9015, ISO17025, ISO14001, and ATEX certifications.
Requirements: Level 8 degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior quality role within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in quality control systems, statistical analysis, and inspection procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Advantageous: Lean Six Sigma qualification, Lead Auditor certification, and experience in leading notified body audits.
Familiarity with ISO standards and experience in continuous improvement initiatives.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
