About your role: We are seeking an energetic and ambitious Commercial Analyst to support the development of Asset business cases in line with our strategy.
You'll also provide commercial support to operating assets to optimise earnings from these assets.
You'll be responsible for the investment appraisal of opportunities, including development of appropriate financial models.
You'll be involved in Asset business case development and will have oversight on all business case assumptions to deliver targeted investment returns.
You'll support contract negotiation and commercial tender evaluation for construction and operational contracts.
You'll prepare investment committee material and will participate in regulatory responses and forums related to the Assets business.
You'll input into monthly reporting and will be involved in presenting internal business case and investment appraisal material.

About You: 3rd level qualification in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related3 - 4 years' experience (preferably in energy) in asset development, construction and/or operationsInvestment appraisal and financial model development experienceCommercial negotiation experience either internal or externalExcellent analytical skills and detail oriented, particularly with regards to development risk, uncertainty, numerical analysis and written reportsExperience of working from own initiative and taking ownership of workExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to disseminate complex information in a simple and transparent mannerAble to manage involvement in a number of simultaneous initiatives, deliver work to agreed deadlines, and work well with a variety of individualsHave an enthusiastic and tenacious approach with a strong commitment to learningWhy should you apply?
