Overview of the role: As the Director of BetFair International SEU & ROW at Flutter / The Stars Group TSG, you will have a unique opportunity to lead and shape our sports and gaming strategy in the SEU & ROW regions. You will work closely with multiple functions and the UKI division to deliver exceptional business outcomes. Your main responsibilities will include managing budgets, analyzing market dynamics and performance, setting cross-functional objectives, and ensuring a flawless local customer experience in each region.
What you'll do: Lead a team that consistently demonstrates strong collaboration and excels in cross-functional work. Gain a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitors, and consumer behavior to drive superior performance in all our markets. Develop and communicate our long-term sports and gaming vision for each region, collaborating with subject matter experts to create effective business plans. Effectively communicate our strategy to the International, UKI, and Group divisions to ensure alignment and drive success. Manage budget allocation across products, including revenue, generosity, sports/gaming margin, and marketing, to optimize performance in each market. Work closely with our Insights team to identify performance drivers and make data-driven decisions to achieve our goals. Collaborate with the product director to create a winning product vision and roadmap for each market. Partner with the Trading Director to effectively manage risk and trading operations across sportsbook and exchange platforms. Collaborate with the CRO function to ensure compliance and manage risk in active markets. Work closely with leaders of customer-facing teams to plan resources and deliver exceptional results in each region. Identify and unlock the potential of Flutter Edge to help Betfair achieve its ambitious goals in each market. Foster an engaging culture within the organization, working with the Betfair International LT to develop and elevate staff for future progression.
