The role: If you are recently graduated and want to get into an FMCG commercial role the commercial executive position is the perfect opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic and diverse fresh food business. You will work alongside a commercial professional and will receive coaching and mentorship. Role Responsibilities for the Commercial Executive:Collaborate with Commercial Manager on day-to-day account activity including customer service levels, commercial plans, sales analysis and report insightsCollaborate with NPD team to ensure commercial and sales feed into critical paths are adhered to along with CMFamiliarity with various customer information systems becoming a key user with responsibility for commercial inputs as requiredAgree promotional activity plans together with the CM, tracking impact on sales & profitabilityLiaise with the finance team on customer administrative queries to ensure timely resolutionsSupport the CM in preparing for weekly sales meetings and quarterly reviewsCollaborate with CM and sales admin desk on customer price file update and ongoing management in line with agreed plansCollaborate with the CM on customer JBP management and meetingsEnsure regular calls to customer stores to update on competitor activity, category layout and operational findings.Attend customer events as required with the CM and wider teamWork closely with CM to ensure the business commercial agenda and planning is adhered to in line with overall customer strategiesLiaise with the marketing brand support team on customer campaignsEnsure weekly updates on customer activity impacting Operations & Production is communicated within the wider teamQualities:Self – motivated, focused and enthusiasticA good team playerPossess a good understanding of customer relationship managementRequirements:Recent graduate with bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.Prior internship or part-time practical work in a commercial role is an advantageStrong written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft officeExcellent organisational skills with good attention to detail and ability to prioritiseOwn Car and clean driving licence required.
