Our client, a leading Global Insurance Broker, is currently seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to join their growing team based in their Head Office in Dublin. This role will operate on a hybrid model of 2 days per week in the office and provides excellent career development opportunities, as the company has a strong track record of internal promotion.

Responsibilities: Gain an in-depth understanding of clients' requirements and risk management strategies, and effectively communicate these to insurers.Lead negotiations for policy renewals and new business with Insurers, securing optimal terms, including for complex or challenging cases.Conduct thorough research and analysis to select appropriate markets, and assist in designing insurance programmes tailored to client requirements.Offer expert advice and recommendations on placement strategies, policy structures, and current market conditions, presenting findings to clients where required.Serve as the escalation point for resolving complex insurer queries.Arrange and host client and insurer meetings when necessary.Ensure compliance with operational procedures at all times.Build and sustain strong working relationships with insurers, seeking regular feedback on service.Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the insurance industry.Demonstrable experience in insurance broking or underwriting for commercial/corporate accounts.Proven experience in relationship management, with an established network of broker and insurer contacts.Ability to maintain clear communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders.Strong organisational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.Should this position be of interest to you please forward your CV to Shauna Jordan at Abrivia Recruitment.
