Commercial Sales Manager (Water Treatment)

As Commercial Sales Manager (Ireland) you will be joining a leading international company involved in the design and manufacture of water treatment products for the building services industry. They have over 30 years providing world leading water treatment technology to protect commercial and industrial premises.
You will be responsible for building effective working relationships throughout Ireland, to ensure that company exposure is maximised in the marketplace with Mechanical Contractors in regards to Water Treatment equipment.
As Commercial Sales Manager your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the team/company in monitoring and updating the relevant projects and accounts within the CRM. Visiting Building Mechanical Contractors as necessary, these could be office or site based visits. Visiting Merchants as necessary. Making effective sales calls to maximise exposure into the marketplace. Building effective working relationships to ensure company exposure is maximised and the Manager is remembered by those visited as a "Must Go To" individual if they need advice on water treatment equipment. Weekly reporting meetings with the Manager. Monthly prospecting, with weekly updates. Monthly business plans, on what will be done to achieve sales targets. Possessing strong technical prowess within the water treatment industry, or having the ability and willingness to learn quickly. Understanding of technical schematics will be required to maximise efficiency in the role. Ensuring the correct contacts in each customer account are identified and visited on a regular basis. Actioning and monitoring appointed/prospected projects. Attending and identifying any training needs and requesting assistance when required. Demonstrating daily the company's core values and supporting, being part of, the company's mission statement. Aiming to achieve yearly financial targets and daily standard company objectives. Preparing and sending customer quotations. Answering customer calls and actioning accordingly. Other ad-hoc related duties as required. To be considered for the Commercial Sales Manager role you will have exceptional client facing skills delivered in an engaging and professional manner. It is essential that you have the ability to retain information across a large number of projects simultaneously. You will be:

Good science-based education and/or training - university education preferred. A good track record in sales. Some experience in managing a successful area within a CRM framework. Presence and an engaging business style. Enthusiasm, energy and drive, with a charismatic personality. Excellent communication skills, oral and written. Outstanding organisational skills. Trusted, with sound judgment. Interest in the water treatment industry.
