You'll have specific responsibility for supporting on key activities such as strategic communications, leadership engagement, people communications, financial results, and engagement action plans.
Ultimately, you will play your part in ensuring that everyone, regardless of where they work, is able to understand the role they play in delivering for our customers.? Reporting to the Communications and Engagement Lead, this is a dynamic role encompassing internal communications, employee engagement, and stakeholder management.? You will have strong knowledge and experience of developing and leading internal communications and employee engagement strategies and plans.
You will demonstrate a proven track record of event-organisation both in-world and virtual.
You will have demonstrable experience at building collaborative relationships and have strong influencing ability.
Your communications skills: both written and verbal will be excellent, with an ability to deliver to deadlines and assume a proactive role for the execution of responsibilities.
You will be creative and innovative, with a desire and curiosity to try new ways of working, while always striving to continuously improve and deliver for the business.? ? Key Responsibilities?: ?Operate using knowledge and context from key stakeholders and with a Ireland-wide lens to deliver the right business outcomes through effective internal communications ? Development and delivery of the overall internal communications strategy in partnership with the team to build a best-in-class internal communications function, which helps to create a better employee experience and delivers the business' strategic priorities and objectives.
? Use a multi-channel approach to inform and inspire colleagues on business plans, priorities, outcomes and successes, with an emphasis on storytelling and two-way communication.
? Work to improve employee engagement scores in partnership with HR through the delivery of effective employee engagement action plans, building trust through authentic communication; line manager capability; and the employee voice?.
Run and coordinate important internal events such as International Women's Day, Men's Pride, International Men's Day and more?.
Design and deliver an ongoing programme of leadership engagement and events, enabling strong understanding, advocacy and participation in the ownership and delivery of strategy.
? Lead the development of channels that support leaders to lead, and managers to manage?.
Be data-led - strengthen a culture of using insights and measurement to inform communications strategy and practice.
? Build a network of colleagues across the UK&I business who can contribute to the development of great content and the delivery of impactful communications.
? Work closely with your UK&I colleagues to share information that will appeal to external parties such as the media, customers, and future employees ensuring we have one story.
? ? Attribute and Qualifications? ?2-3 years experiences of business communications or corporate events Proven track record of strong internal communications and employee engagement delivery at a high level? Experience running events and engagements is a bonus?.
Experience in creating and delivering high quality, high impact communication and engagement plans at large organisations, and being part of an energised, engaged team?.
Demonstrated emotional intelligence, interpersonal and written communication skills.
? Results-driven with a proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
? A team player, with a collaborative style ? Not afraid to constructively challenge and you will ensure excellent two-way communication between senior leaders and our other employees?.
