Company Accountant My client is a leading provider of Care Management Software solutions designed to revolutionise the way healthcare is delivered.
Their innovative software empowers healthcare organisations to streamline operations, optimise care coordination, and ultimately, improve patient outcomes.
You will be joining a passionate team dedicated to making a positive impact on the healthcare industry, and they're seeking a talented company accountant to join our growing team.
About the role My client's finance team work with every element of the business, building strong relationships with both internal and external business partners.
They focus on implementing best practice and provide meaningful management information which inform business strategy decisions.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a very fast paced tech company which is private equity backed.
Working closely with their CFO and Group Financial Controller, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment.
What you will be doing Roles and responsibilities include:
Overseeing the Sales and Purchase Ledgers on Xero Accounts PackageWeekly Supplier PaymentsWeekly bank reconciliationsBi-weekly Credit Card reconciliations and Monthly Petty Cash reconciliationsPreparation of quarterly VAT returnsAssisting Financial Controller in the preparation of monthly management accounts and management reportsPreparation of Margin Analysis by product and clientAssisting Financial Controller in the preparation of forecasts and budgetsPreparing Ad Hoc Finance reports for Financial ControllerPreparing Monthly Payroll and Payroll ProcessingMonthly Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliationsLiaising with key suppliersPreparation of monthly accruals, prepayments and fixed assets schedulesCompletion of Statutory Government returnsManaging monthly staff expenses processWorking closely with the Group Financial Controller on all key financial aspects of reporting within the businessManaging variable pay schemes including scheme administration for joiners / movers / leavers, calculation and paymentProject based work, including:Working with stakeholders across the business to research and deliver answers to finance-based queries.
For example, product pricing analysis, business unit profitability analysis, revenue forecasting, budget setting, sales analysis, etc.Analysing and improving finance-related workflows across the business including sales order to invoice processingRequirements The successful candidate will demonstrate:
A proven track record: You will have a minimum of 2-5 year's experience in a busy finance or accounting function, and be qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification).Accounting expertise: You will be capable and experienced in completing full Financial or Management Accounts.
You will have experience in month end tasks such as balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and monthly variance analysis.Communication skills: You will have the confidence and skill to facilitate broad-ranging conversations with people across the business and with external customers (face to face, telephone and digital communications)Exceptional organisational skills and keen attention to detail: You will work with a high degree of accuracy and effectively plan to ensure that tasks are actioned and followed up to ensure completionNumerical and analytical skills: You will enjoy working with numbers and will have an analytical mindsetCommercial acumen: You will be interested in understanding the business and be commercially aware, with knowledge of sales forecasting, commission schemes and revenue recognition policies.Team-orientated: You will be able to build relationships with the wider Learning Pool team and work together to achieve the team and company goalsFor any queries, please contact Ciara at ******
