Competition Associate Solicitor – Top Tier Irish Law Firm – Dublin Are you an ambitious and talented solicitor with a passion for competition law and regulation?
Our client is a top-tier Irish law firm who is growing their competition practice and are keen to recruit a Competition Associate Solicitor to join their highly regarded Competition and Regulated Markets team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated solicitor to join a top-tier firm, working with leading clients on cutting-edge matters in competition and regulatory law.

As an integral part of the team, you will advise high-profile clients across a diverse range of sectors, including energy, retail, technology, insurance, and financial services.
Your role will span a variety of exciting and complex competition and regulatory matters, including:
Merger controlForeign investment screeningInvestigations and State aidCompetition law aspects of agreementsCompliance programmesCompetition litigationKey Responsibilities: Provide high-quality legal advice to clients on a wide range of competition and regulatory issuesAssist with complex and high-stakes competition investigations, including interactions with competition authoritiesContribute to significant cross-border merger control mattersDraft and negotiate key competition and regulatory documents, agreements, and compliance frameworksSupport clients in competition-related litigation and dispute resolutionDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients and external stakeholdersCollaborate with a dynamic and supportive team of legal expertsThe Ideal Candidate: 2+ years PQE, gained in a reputable law firm or relevant in-house position with a focus on competition law and regulationSolid understanding of Irish and EU competition law, including merger control, state aid, and cartel investigationsExcellent research, analytical, and drafting skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approachA proactive and team-oriented attitude, with a keen interest in developing your expertiseIf you are ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you!
