Position: Complex Motor Claims Handler
Location: Dublin City Centre
Abrivia Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Motor Claims Handler to join a prestigious Global Insurance Group headquartered in Dublin. This pivotal role involves managing and resolving complex motor claims, including those with disputed liability and multiple parties.
This role will be on a hybrid model of 3 days onsite and comes with a range of benefits including 23 days annual leave + 2 company days, Healthcare, Pension, Life Assurance. Your Role: Claims Investigation & Settlement: Conduct thorough investigations into complex motor claims, assessing documentation and evidence to determine liability. Utilise effective claims handling and settlement techniques to bring about timely resolution.Documentation & Analysis: Maintain accurate and detailed records throughout the claim's lifecycle, ensuring all information is meticulously collected, analysed, and documented.Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by engaging with all relevant parties promptly and professionally, adhering to service level agreements and company policies.Claims Management: Set appropriate reserves for claims within your authority and actively manage a diary system to ensure timely follow-ups and claim closures.Subrogation & Fraud Identification: Identify potential subrogation opportunities and assess fraud risks, making the necessary referrals to appropriate departments.Your Skills: APA/CIP qualified or working towards same.Experience in handling motor damage claims, with the ability to navigate disputed liability cases.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clarity and conciseness in all interactions.Proficient in desk management, phone etiquette, and time management, with the ability to handle difficult customer interactions effectively.Demonstrated strong negotiation skills, particularly in resolving high stakes claims.Experience in providing technical guidance to other claim handlers is a plus.Should this position be of interest to you please forward your CV to Shauna Jordan in Abrivia Recruitment.
