Compliance Bcar Engineer / Inspector

Job DescriptionOur client is an international design consultancy with multiple offices in Ireland and abroad.The candidate must have a thorough understanding of Building Control Legislation, Building Regulations, best practice and industry guidance with an extensive experience on a range of complex projects.The main duties will consist of:Contribute to a team environment, sharing ideas and solutionsPreparing commencement and completion noticesCompletion of commencement noticesAuthor and compile inspection plans and track same during the course of a projectEnsure compilation of completion certificates and ancillary certificatesCompilation of required product certification from contractorsAttending client, design and site meetings all over the country undertaking timely site inspections with documented reporting on sameTracking of open compliance issues on projects to ensure satisfactory closureThe use of a company cloud compliance system for all of the above tasksCoordination and liaison with all parties involved in a construction projectUse of the Building Control Management System (BCMS) for projectsReporting to the named Assigned Certifier on a regular basisCorrespond with Building Control as requiredRequirementsDegree in construction related discipline (Architect, Building Surveyor, Civil / Structural Engineer, Mechanical & Electrical Engineer)Experience Required: 4 yearsPackage9-day fortnight whereby staff can take a day off every second FridayFlexible remote working policyFlexibility of working hoursPositive working environmentVariety of projectsSocial Committee events.Annual Leave increases with years of serviceEngineers Ireland CPD Company – All personnel are guaranteed minimum 5 days training per annumSports Social ClubCorporate Rate Gym MembershipCycle to Work SchemeTravel Saver SchemePension SchemeDeath in Service SchemeGroup Health Cover SchemePaid Professional MembershipsEmployee Assistance Programme
